Speaker: Mr. Allen Lynch Website Description/Bio: Professor Lynch is currently the Executive Vice-President of the Feris Foundation of America and a Professor here at UVa in the Woodrow Wilson Department of Politics. He received his bachelors degree in History, magna cum laude, at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1977, then his Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University in 1979, and finally his Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University in 1984. Since then he has published over 35 books and articles, spoken before a number of different institutions, and served as a visiting scholar and professor all around the world, from universities in Shanghai to Berlin to Cambridge, MA.
